What is "stock photography"?
For
those who don't know, a stock photographer sells images from a
"stock" file of photographs which has been taken previously.
As opposed to having a buyer who hires the photographer to take specific
photos on their behalf. Typically the price the photo-buyer pays lower
this way.

All images on this site are owned and
copyrighted by Robert A. vanNostrand. They may not be used in any way
without the written permission. Images in the Public Photo Gallery may be
saved for personal use only, as a screen saver on a personal computer.
SUBJECTS: The main
subjects of my photos have some relationship to Atlantic
Canada. Typically
family destinations, and events, including scenic photography and industry
related images. Most of my material relates to the provinces of Nova Scotia and
New Brunswick in Canada. My travels also periodically cover Prince Edward
Island (PEI) and Newfoundland.
SEARCHING:
Each photo has been well described, so that you can
quickly locate a particular photo using single or multiple key-word searches.
In
addition,
you can use the Microsoft Internet Explorer SEARCH function once you are in
the correct broad category page. (e.g. Edit; Find; keyword).
This will locate photos containing that keyword within that particular category.
AVAILABILITY:
All photos are readily available in high resolution (3Megapixel) digital
format, by email, or CD ROM. Alternatively they can be made
available as printed photos, using conventional photo processes in any size
up to 8"x10". Larger sizes may be available on request.

I am available to carry out photographic assignments if you can't find the
perfect image in my library.
